As a part of my ongoing service to Allstate Insurance Agents, I have formed an alliance with two former employees of Financial Profiles, Inc. to provide Profiles+ consulting, training and support services to Allstate reps. Eric Sweet (former Corporate Accounts Manager) and Pat Umphrey (former Director of Training) have joined Allstate and are available to assist you with the implementation of Profiles+ in your practice.

Eric Sweet began his career as an agent with American National Insurance Company and was a multi-line insurance producer. In 1985 he joined Financial Profiles as a Retail Sales Representative.
In 1990 Eric moved into Corporate Accounts and in addition to selling the program, he began to train individual and corporate users on Profiles+. He has authored custom training and rollout programs for many of Financial Profiles, Inc.’s corporate accounts and has trained over 5000 financial services representatives on the use of the Profiles+ planning program.
Eric has also spoken to many industry associations on the use of technology in the financial planning process, and he joined Allstate in 2002.

Pat Umphrey began his career with Financial Profiles in 1991 after graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in computer engineering. In 1992 he joined the Marketing Department at Financial Profiles, and eventually became Director of Sales and Marketing.
In 1995 Pat took a planned sabbatical from Financial Profiles and started a career with Guardian Life Insurance Company as a Field Representative. In 1998, armed with practical experience based on using Profiles+ in the field, he rejoined Financial Profiles as Director of Training. In this role, Pat worked with Eric to develop and implement Profiles+ sales, marketing, training and rollout programs for Financial Profiles’ corporate clients.
Pat left Financial Profiles in 2000 to assume Profiles+ consulting roles with several major insurance companies, and he joined Allstate in 2002.
